v0.1.0
ClickTray 0.1.0
ClickTray 0.1.0 is the first release. It's a signed installer for Windows 10 and 11, free and ad-free, with no account. The download button goes live once the installer is published to it.
This first release has all four tools: Auto Clicker, Key Presser, Macro Recorder and Stay Awake. Most of the work since the site went up went into the part people get stuck on, which is telling an auto clicker what to click.
What's new
- A guided setup that asks what you're trying to do. Auto Clicker starts by asking whether you want the same spot over and over, a few spots in order, or something that shows up on screen. It then asks one question at a time and reads your setup back as a plain-English sentence. Click any part of the sentence to change that answer. Advanced keeps the full form.
- Test detection. Before you hand over your mouse, it looks once and marks what it found on a snapshot of the area. It clicks nothing. When a color isn't found, it names the closest color that is there and offers a one-click fix, because the eyedropper often catches the thing next to your target.
- Exact, Close and Loose. Each picture or color a trigger looks for is a large card with one plain matching setting, instead of a number to guess at.
- Clicks what it finds. A trigger can click wherever its target appears, including every copy on screen at once. It can follow a window as you move it, and Every time it shows up clicks each thing once rather than hammering it.
- Runs. Every setup you start is kept on the Runs screen, ready to load again. You can also save an Auto Clicker setup to a file and share it.
- Four ways to stop. F6 stops a session from anywhere, and you can change the key in Settings. If that fails, hold Esc for a second, use the on-screen Stop bar, or pick Stop session from the tray icon.
Worth knowing
- ClickTray drives the real cursor and keyboard, so it works in whatever window is in front. It can't send input to a background window in this version.
- Updates install themselves: ClickTray restarts as soon as a new version has downloaded, and that restart stops any running session.
- Nothing you record, type or capture leaves your PC. The manual covers every setting and what usually goes wrong with each.
Already installed? This arrives on its own — ClickTray updates itself in the background.
