Record what you do once, then replay it — and fix the timing without recording again.

Recording

Press record and work through the sequence at your own pace. ClickTray captures mouse moves, clicks, scroll and keystrokes while the recorder is active. Continuous cursor movement is compressed into point-to-point transitions automatically, which keeps the file small and the replay smooth.

Recordings stay on this PC. A macro is a file in your own profile folder and is never uploaded. When you stop recording, ClickTray tells you how many steps it captured — a count, never the contents.

Steps

Once a macro exists, the Steps list appears. Every step shows its delay in milliseconds and its coordinates, and both are editable. This is the difference between this and the older recorders: a pause that is 200 ms short is a number you change, not a take you shoot again.

Replay

• Repeat — a number from 1 up to 100,000, or infinite.
• Speed — from 0.1× to 10× the recorded pace.
• Timing jitter (ms) — varies the gaps on replay, for anything that dislikes a perfectly identical repeat.

Press Play to start. A finite macro that finishes does not end the session on its own, so Stop stays your escape hatch either way.

What usually goes wrong

The replay clicks in the wrong places. Coordinates are absolute. A different resolution or a different display scaling moves every target. Re-record, or edit the coordinates in the step list.

The recording has a false start at the beginning. Delete the first steps rather than re-recording — that is what the step list is for.
