General

Startup and tray behaviour.

• Launch on Windows startup — start ClickTray with Windows so your stop shortcut is ready at login. On by default. At login ClickTray comes back the way you left it — as a window, or only in the tray.
• Tray behaviour — closing this window hides ClickTray to the tray; it keeps running and a session keeps going. Stop a session or quit from the tray icon.

Stopping a session

How to halt a running click, key or macro session from anywhere. Covered in full under Stopping a session: Stop shortcut, Hold Esc to stop, Show a Stop bar while running, and Always available — the tray icon's Stop, which never depends on a shortcut.

Utilities

Turn each utility on or off. One row per shipped module. A utility switched off disappears from the sidebar, and its home-screen card is dimmed. There are no per-module settings forms here — the four modules configure themselves inside their own panels.

Bandwidth sharing

ClickTray is free — no paid tier, no ads. It is funded by the bundled Massive SDK, which shares a slice of your idle bandwidth when it can. Only one Clearware tray app shares at a time, so if another one is already sharing on this PC, ClickTray will not.

• Share idle bandwidth — on or off. The switch tracks the engine's actual state, not your stored intent, so it never shows "on" over an engine that never started. The tray menu and Massive's own icon can switch it too.
• Status — live; this is the engine's actual state: Sharing, Starting…, Waiting for consent, Paused with an error, Unavailable, Off, or Off · stopped in Massive.

Privacy & diagnostics

Anonymous, opt-out telemetry. Never includes key names, typed text, window titles, coordinates, or screen captures.

• Recordings stay on this PC — macro recordings and captured template images are stored locally and are never uploaded, to us or to anyone else.
• Crash reports — send anonymized crash diagnostics (Sentry).
• Usage analytics — send anonymous feature-usage events (Aptabase).
• Reinstall / Uninstall analytics — the install signal described under Privacy: a random install id sent on first launch and after each update, so installs and reinstalls can be counted and matched to where they came from. No URLs, filenames, or media.
