Stay Awake

Three strategies, and the choice matters: only the last two synthesize real input. Pick one and the panel shows only the controls that strategy needs.

System power blocker (recommended)

Blocks sleep and the screensaver at the OS level. Sends no synthetic input at all — your cursor never moves. This is the default and it is the right answer for sleep, the screensaver and the idle lock. If that is your problem, stop here.

It needs no interval, so no schedule controls appear.

Micro-move

Really nudges the cursor one pixel and back on an interval, for idle detectors that watch input rather than power state.

Keep-alive keystroke

Really taps a harmless key — F15 or Scroll Lock — on an interval, for session timeouts that only reset on real input. F15 exists in the keyboard standard but essentially nothing binds it, which is why it is the default choice.

Interval and jitter

Interval (minutes), from 1 minute to 60. Timing jitter (ms) varies the moment the pulse lands. Neither applies to the power strategy.

The Roblox Anti-Disconnect preset button sets keep-alive, F15, and a 15-minute interval — comfortably under the documented 20-minute idle kick, so the pulse never races the timeout.

What usually goes wrong

My laptop still sleeps when I shut the lid. Lid-close behaviour is a Windows power setting, not an idle timeout, and nothing here overrides it.

IT policy still locks the screen. None of the three can override a policy your administrator has set.
