Runs

Every setup you start is kept on the Runs screen, newest first, with its utility, its triggers and when it last ran. Click a row to load it back into its utility, ready to start again. Running the same setup again moves its row to the top rather than adding another. The list keeps your last 50.

It is empty until you run something: Start any utility and the setup you ran shows up here, ready to load again. Stop the running session before loading another run, and use the remove button on a row to take it off the list. A run whose utility is switched off in Settings is greyed out until you switch it back on.

Saving an Auto Clicker setup to a file

Auto Clicker's guided Review step has Save setup and Open a setup.

Save setup writes the whole setup — including any captured pictures — into one .clicktray.json file you can keep or share, so it works on someone else's PC. Windows asks where to save it, suggesting auto-clicker-setup.clicktray.json; the file carries the Review sentence inside it as the setup's name. If a picture the setup uses has been deleted from disk since you captured it, saving fails; capture it again.

Only Auto Clicker setups can be saved to a file. A recorded macro lives in ClickTray's own settings and cannot be exported or imported.

Open a setup loads a file someone shared with you. It is unavailable while a session is running. ClickTray checks it before anything runs. A setup file is data, never code: the file's structure is validated and unknown top-level fields are rejected, every number is clamped to a bounded range, and pictures are taken only from inside the file. No setup can describe a program to run. A file made for a different utility is refused. The settings themselves are checked again when you press Start clicking, so a damaged file can load and then refuse to start.

Validation is not a judgement about what the setup does. Read a stranger's setup before you run it.

What usually goes wrong

A loaded setup clicks in the wrong places. It was made on a different screen. Fixed points and captured pictures depend on resolution and display scaling — see Screen triggers.
