Updates

ClickTray updates itself in the background. There is never a reason to re-download an installer.

It checks a few seconds after it starts and then every six hours, and downloads any new version in the background. As soon as a download finishes, ClickTray restarts itself to install it — and that restart stops any session that is running. (If the previous update failed to install, it waits and installs when you next quit instead.) The Restarting mid-session row in Settings says nothing restarts automatically; in this version that is not the case.

• Update channel — Stable or Beta. Beta receives releases earlier, with more risk.
• Check for updates — Check now checks the feed for a newer version. The hint line shows the current state — Up to date., the download's progress, or an error. Once an update is downloaded the button becomes Restart to update.

The sidebar footer shows the same progress, and a notice with a Restart button appears when an update is ready.
